Put the 10-32 x ? set screw down through the tapped hole in the top of the mount and tighten against the receiver. Lightly tighten the (2) 4-40 socket head screws. Put the 10-32 x 3/8 flat head screw through the mount and into the nut & tighten. Put in the (2) 4-40 x ? socket head screws. It is very important that these holes line up to keep from damaging the threads when the screws are installed. Place the mount over the special nut & align the 4-40 tapped holes in the mount up with the holes in the side of the receiver.

Slide the flange nut into the undercut at the front of the sight where the spring was with the full radius on the nut toward the rear. Remove the flip up sight & then the spring by first taking the small screw that holds the spring in place, slide it forward and lift it out. Push the pin out at the rear of the rear flip sight.
